We have two neighbors moving….the first is Gary and Linda who are moving to GA to be closer to their son. Gary has been retired for several years working odd jobs here and there. Now Linda is retiring. We will miss their Christmas lights, fall decorations and the work they do on their yard. Dorothy is the other neighbor. She moved last week to Homestead, an assisted living home. She is very happy about her new place. She still has her car so she will be out and about doing her daily walks at all the local stores. We will miss seeing her going in and out, driving her trash down the driveway and her friendly wave when we see her. There were so many trucks and cars in the our little circle that everyone was having to wait for the other one to move out of the way. It’s nice …

We took a bartending class downtown Kansas City MO at the Professional Bartending Schools of America. We are holding our Mojitos. A mojito is a cocktail that consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime juice, sparkling water and mint. The bar station had three compartment sinks, stainless steel ice bins, Wunderbar soda gun and liquor speed racks. We had time behind the bar to practice pouring shots without using a shot glass.Holan was having just a little too much fun! Holan and Kristie are tasting the drinks from the cascading bar trick Kristie tried to do. She wasn’t given very clear instructions by Beth, our instructor, so it didn’t work out too well. After watching Kristie Holan tried it and is part of this video.http://youtu.be/fVcBTeStwFsThis is Kristie doing a shot with no hands. This shot is the American Flag until you light it on fire then it …
