First impression – Oh My! What a beautiful ship and she is HUGE, the world’s largest cruise ship. OASIS is spectacular. Year Built 2009; Tonnage 220,000 tons; Registry Bahamas; Length 1,181 feet

Embarkation: So smooth, unbelievable. We arrived Port Everglades Fort Lauderdale at approximately 10:45 a.m. We were dropped off by Ace Tours and Transportation. We left our luggage curbside with the porters then walked a short distance to the terminal.

Check in was a breeze. We did have a little problem with Samantha not wanting to have her picture made for the check in but she was willing at the last stop before boarding. We boarded OASIS by 11:15 a.m. Process is a “well oiled machine” and much better than other cruises we have taken.

Our rooms was ready at 1:00 pm. We had stateroom 10132, Holan 10134 and Steve, Kristie and Samantha were in 10136. All were Superior Ocean view cabins with a balcony and were located at the front of the ship.
