After having dinner we went to the Oasis of Dreams Show. It was a highly choreographed water show. Eighteen performers–6 divers, 4 synchronized swimmers, 2 specialty divers, and 6 acrobats perform in the Aqua Theater, an open air Amphitheatre and its 17-foot, 9-inch deep kidney shaped pool. Three pool lifts, lighting, a trampoline and underwater cameras enhance the shows. The divers use 3 different locations–the 3 meter springboards and two spots on the huge towers–one at 10 meters and the other at 18 meters.
In this photo, besides showing Samantha and Kristie watching the show, you can see the aft Boardwalk-view balcony cabins and suites. They have great seats from their rooms.
During the show we talked about the movable platforms and equipment that appeared and disappeared during the show. We thought it could be dangerous if the dived into the water and the platforms had not been taken down. I read later that there are red/green traffic signals embedded in the rock climbing wall across from the theater. Those signals the divers that the pool is clear to dive from the 58 foot platform.
