We did a 6K (3.728 mile) walk with Rick and Rumi at Williams Creek Lake.
It was a very nice walk around the 100 acre lake. The path was paved
with asphalt, which was nice compared to the last walk we took. The trail
was through an oak hickory forest, with openings where the lake could be
seen.
There were six wood bridges and one metal truss bridge we crossed over,
all numbered. There were benches scattered along the trail and a swim beach
which is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day.While walking we saw
individual and families on bicycles, jogging, walking and strolling along the path.
There were several people fishing and kids running down to the lake from the
campground. There were many picnic spots with tables and grills.
