Before sailing at 5:00 pm we had to do our Muster Drill so we would know where to go if there was a problem. They sounded the horns and it was a little loud for Samantha. If you look on Samantha’s arm you will see a blue bracelet. All kids had a bracelet so they could be taken to their assigned muster station if they were not with their parents. There were over 6,000 passengers and over 1,500 crew members when we sailed.

Even people on boats watched as we left. This boats name is Catch My Drift. We thought that was a cool name.

The US Coast Guard escorted us out of the harbor. Since it was an armed boat we thought they might be more concerned about boats coming in than boats going out???
