Sunday morning . . . Time to start our second part of our adventure. Fred, Lupe and Steve started off the day going to Mass at Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Everyone else decided and extra hour of sleep/packing was a good idea. We had breakfast our last time at the Hampton Inn and off we took to the docks in our Uber cars. Upon arriving at the dock the porters took our luggage and then the job of putting our two groups of three together started. We finally connected inside the terminal after going through security which included having our hand luggage x-rayed and walking through a metal detector. Next task was check-in, which included filling out a health form, having our digital photo and our credit card number attached to our key card. The card was used to check on or off the ship at ports, allowing the ship to know who is on board at any given time. It was also our room key, credit card and light switch to the lights in our cabin. We had kept our room key from the hotel to use for the lights, which enabled us to charge things while we were out of the room After waiting about 30 minutes, we were allowed to proceed to the ship.
