Nestled on the shores of Keehi Lagoon in Honolulu, Hawaii sits La Mariana Tiki Bar and Restaurant. Founded in 1957 by Annette and Johnny Campbell, La Mariana continues to serve as a historic reminder of the old days of Hawaii and has become a museum of Hawaiian collectibles from many of the beautiful and most famous tike-themed restaurants of the past. From the ground up La Mariana is the last original tiki bar in Honolulu, Hawaii, as well as a living tribute to Annette Nahinu who single-handedly brought about this island oasis. This is the walkway leading up to the entrance. I thought the trees and sailing boats was interesting.
LaMariana was decorated for Halloween. Didn’t understand the butterflies but they were pretty.
These are some of the drinks we had, most were really good…..but a couple weren’t.
We were watching Hawaii 5-0 one night and we recognized the glass balls and the fountain in the scene. Looking closer it was the same tables and chairs. Warm memories of our evening at LaMariana came rushing back.
